Peter Rivera....drums, lead vocals
Also known as Peter Hoorelbeke, he was in both Rare Earth and The Sunliners. He left Rare Earth in 1974 and returned in 1977 then left again in 1983. He now performs with Pete Rivera’s Celebrate and The Classic Rock All Stars. Peter has his autobiography “Born To Wander” which covers his life in the band. Other records to feature Peter include:

John Persh....bass guitar, vocals
Also known as John Parrish he was in both Rare Earth and The Sunliners. He left the band following the release of the 2LP In Concert in 1971. He formed Pywackett with Kenny James and issued a single in 1974. John has sadly passed away.

Russ Terrana....guitar, producer
Russ was in The Sunliners and moved on to new beginnings around 1965. Throughout his career he has produced some of the biggest acts in the world
Ralph Terrana....keyboards, producer
Ralph is the brother of Russ and was in The Sunliners until around 1965. Ralph went on to engineer and produce a lot of the acts that appeared on the Rare Earth label as well as many more throughout his career. He was the owner of Tera Shirma studios where the band recorded sometimes. Ralph’s detailed life can be read in his autobiography called “The Road Through Motown”. Other records to feature Ralph:

Also know as Fred Kotenko, he was in The Sunliners then moved on, Fred became successful in TV.

Another Sunliners man who left before the band became Rare Earth
Rod Richards....guitar, vocals
Also known as Rod Cox. Rod was in The Sunliners from around 65 to when they changed the name in 68, featuring on four Rare Earth albums, Dreams Answers, Generation, Get Ready and Ecology. He and drummer Leslie Sampson joined up with ex Jimi Hendix bass player Noel Redding to form the band called Road who issued one album on Rare Earth records. A solo cd was made in 2003 called “More Than The Blues”

Tom Baird....producer
Tom was not in Rare Earth or The Sunliners but he was still part of the big picture. He joined with Peter Hoorelbeke and Mike Urso to form the band HUB in 1975.

Kenny James....keyboards
Also known as Ken Folcick Ken joined The Sunliners in around 65 and performed on the same four albums as Rod Richards, leaving after Ecology. Ken was late for the front cover photo shoot on Dreams and Answers so the band put Dennis Coffey who produced the album in to the picture. Ken formed Pywackett along with John Persh and signed to Bell Records for one single, he now plays with The Bunch Band.

Eddie Guzman....percussion, congas
Eddie joined the band at the outset of their time with Motown, having been working in New York. During his time there he played on what was to be the first album on the now world famous Sire label, the album was by Peter Kelley called Path of the Wave which came out in 1969, the UK release for the album came out on London(Decca).
